TAWNI GOTTMATE Operations Manager Tawni Gott is a dedicated professional based in the Monterey Bay area of Northern California, known for her deep commitment to her work, family, and community. Balancing her roles as both a mother and an active volunteer, Tawni regularly supports non-profit organizations to help improve the lives of those around her. Tawni’s journey with MATE, now a part of the Marine Technology Society (MTS), began in 2019 when she joined as a Program Assistant at MATE II. On July 1, 2024, she transitioned to the position of Operations Manager within MTS. In this capacity, Tawni oversees organizational operations, with particular emphasis on planning and executing the MATE ROV World Championship and managing MATE Scholarships. Her tenacity, creativity, and innovative mindset enable her to uphold high standards, implement operational improvements, and support MATE’s programming, all while advancing the broader mission of MTS. Bringing over a decade of experience in the non-profit sector, Tawni has developed expertise in fundraising, financial management, and client relations. She has played a vital role in projects that support vulnerable populations and educational foundations, consistently building strong relationships and managing operations with integrity. Her ongoing dedication to her profession and community continues to make a positive impact on those around her.
