KRISTI TERRASA 

Kristi Terrasa is a relationship-driven professional with a diverse background spanning business development, strategic communications, and management roles across multiple sectors, most recently finding a passion for working within the ocean economy. As Senior Manager of Corporate and Committee Engagement, Kristi serves as the primary relationship owner for MTS corporate members and committee leadership. 

Prior to joining the MTS team, Kristi worked as Senior Associate of Corporate and Business Development at C-Power, where she helped build customer, partner, and investor relationships, managed marketing and communications strategies, and supported the overall growth of the company. Kristi previously served as Co-Chair of the U.S. Marine Energy Council (MEC), leading national advocacy to advance marine energy policy and organizing across the sector to shape industry priorities, and as a Board Member of the University Marine Energy Research Community (UMERC), fostering collaboration between universities, federal agencies, and technology developers. 

Kristi holds a BA in English and Psychology, graduating cum laude with distinction from Duke University.
