The Early Career Ocean Professionals Section is now accepting nominations for five open positions. Nominations must be submitted by May 31. The open positions are: Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and Outreach Coordinator. MTS members may nominate candidates for the open positions through 11:59 p.m. EST on May 31, 2021. Self-nominations are permitted and encouraged. Once nominees are submitted, the election will begin on June 1. A ECOP Town Hall meeting to meet the candidates and discuss ECOPs initiatives will be held June 10. REGISTER HERE to attend.

All nomination packages must include the following:

• Potential nominee’s CV and short biography (must not exceed 250 words)
• Potential nominee’s list of prior MTS activity/service
• Potential nominee’s list of experience in association volunteer positions
• Potential nominee’s photograph, formatted as a 300 dpi JPG file
