About Denis Hains: Denis Hains is the President and CEO of H2i Inc., a global leader and influencer of the hydrospatial domain. He is the former Hydrographer General of Canada. As a senior executive, he led many organizations in the Federal Canadian Government related to hydrography, geodesy, remote sensing and others. He is particularly passionate and interested in promoting global collaboration in the area of “all the blue of our blue planet and its contiguous zones”, the hydrospatial domain, which involves studying and mapping aquatic environments using multidimensional and spatiotemporal data, information, and knowledge.
