AlphaGeo is a re-selling organization for businesses in the surveying industry, encompassing both land and hydrographic sectors. Our offerings include drones/UAVs, underwater drones/ROVs, various payloads, and survey equipment along with software solutions. We proudly serve as the official UK supplier for international companies such as Lily and Greenpeace in Germany. Our affiliation with MTS enables us to stay informed about the latest advancements in marine technology, connect with fellow industry leaders, and foster our reputation within the field. Our participation in the MTS pavilion at Ocean Business 2023 was a rewarding experience, and we eagerly anticipate more networking opportunities as active members of MTS.
What part of your MTS membership has your organization found the most valuable?
We had a great time participating in Ocean Business 23 and have already registered for the 2025 show! At the event, we were joined by two key suppliers, Tersus and Hydro-Tech, who showcased their cutting-edge products in the marine technology sector. Ocean Business provided us with the opportunity to engage with fantastic companies, like-minded individuals, and highlight our expertise and knowledge in the industry. We're eagerly looking forward to the amazing experience once again in 2025!
Our team at AlphaGeo may be relatively compact, as we're the sister company to Geo4D, but our efficient machine of members keeps us seamlessly operational. Leading the way is Brian Critchley, our CEO, whose extensive background in geoscience spans over three decades. His journey began with a degree in Geology, followed by a master's in Oceanography. With experiences ranging from gold exploration in Australia to global land and marine geophysical surveys, his expertise is invaluable.
Driving our growth is Adrian Fowler, our Technical Sales Manager, who joined us in 2022. Adrian's dedication has expanded our business by fostering new connections, orchestrating networking event participation, and boosting sales. His contributions continue to fortify our progress.
A dedicated team of drone specialists rigorously tests our products to meet our quality standards before reaching customers. Leading this team is Deaglan Bayliss, affectionately known as Degsy. Degsy, who returned to the UK from a stint in New Zealand, previously built a career in TV as a production drone operator, lending creative shots to Channel 4, ITV, and Discovery shows.
Handling our online presence is Lily Rachel, our adept Social Media Manager. Lily, on board since March this year, has been instrumental in nurturing our business growth. She brings a wealth of expertise from various design courses, particularly in Canva, and possesses deep expertise in copywriting. Her contribution significantly bolsters our online visibility.
