This month, the MTS Houston Section BBQ brought together members, sponsors, and partners to support and celebrate marine technology education and innovation. With the support of our generous sponsors, the event provided $39,600 in scholarships to future leaders in ocean engineering, robotics, and marine technology. 

Scholarships awarded this year include:

• University of Houston College of Engineering: $6,000
• Texas A&M College Station - Department of Ocean Engineering - $6,000
• Texas A&M Galveston - $6,000
• Texas A&M Corpus Christi - $6,000
• The Woodlands High School Robotics - $2,400
• Cinco Ranch High School Robotics - $2,400
• Pasadena High School Robotics - $2,400
• MATE Texas Regional - $3,600

A big thank you to our 47 exhibiting companies and 5 sponsors for making this year's event an inspiring and supportive gathering. The event reinforced the commitment of MTS and its partners to nurturing educational opportunities and fostering community connections in marine technology.
