I hope you are enjoying the midyear wherever that may find you on our ocean planet.  As we move into July, I’m pleased to share important updates about our MTS Awards and Elections.  

MTS Awards 

We’ve just concluded the nominations and review process for this year’s MTS Awards, the caliber of all nominees is truly impressive. The depth and breadth of talent in our community never ceases to amaze me.  

Recognizing the diverse achievements of our peers is crucial. Our MTS community is filled with unique individuals and compelling organizations, and it’s our honor to highlight their accomplishments. Let’s continue to celebrate each other’s successes and please consider nominating your colleagues next year. Stay tuned for the award results, which will be presented at the 2024 MTS Annual Meeting (check email for registration link).  

MTS Elections 

We’ve also completed nominations for our upcoming Board of Directors elections. I encourage you all to vote when the ballots open. As a member-driven organization, selecting our Board is both an opportunity and a responsibility for each of us. Your vote ensures our leadership reflects the values and priorities of our global community.
